The Columbia Association hired Progressive Contracting Company, Inc. to renovate and restore the existing 110 year old mansion. The mansion was converted to new offices, meeting rooms and ballrooms.
During the conversion and restoration many improvements were made. Construction activities included:
refinished and repaired hardwood floors
recoated metal roof
repaired exterior stucco system
structural modification of timber frame
repaired and replaced windows and doors
repaired railings and portico columns
repaired lead glass windows
made parking and landscape improvements
installation of utilities (water, sewer, and electric)
modernized bathrooms
and made improvements to catering kitchen
