Progressive Contracting Company (PCCI) completed interior and exterior renovations and restoration. The Old Fort Depot is the new headquarters for the McDowell Tourism Development Authority and continues its role as a railroad museum. This is also the home of the Old Fort Chamber of Commerce. All work was completed with active train tracks within 20 feet of the building. The renovation included:

outdoor and indoor stages
new ADA restrooms and ramps where necessary
interior and exterior trim detailing to match existing
a kitchen area and offices for the Chamber of Commerce and MTDA
station master office space, and waiting area for the future when train travel resumes
all new HVAC and plumbing
new doors to match vintage double freight doors, fitted with commercial door hardware
new parking lot, brick paving, and steel fencing
exterior lead abatement and painting
