Cardinal Ballroom

The Cardinal Ballroom is a 500 person capacity meeting and banquet room located in the iconic Carolina Hotel of Pinehurst.  Due to the quantity of events booked within the Cardinal, PCCI’s renovation was performed over three phases.  The first phase was the most difficult and time sensitive.  Completed in just over two months, phase 1 consisted of a complete removal/asbestos abatement of the existing metal lath/plaster ceiling, new entrance systems (including block wall reconstruction), wood veneer ceiling structure, sprinkler, sound, and electrical system upgrades.  The second phase included perimeter wall trim, antiqued mirrors, sound panels, and accent lighting.  Our final phase consisted of the removal of the railing system, construction/installation of the new railing system, and installation of new floor coverings.  Each phase was completed in a timely fashion thereby allowing the Owner to maintain contracted bookings without having to relocate, delay, or otherwise lose income due to the renovations.
