Progressive Contracting Company, Inc. (PCCI) was selected to provide general contracting services for this project involved complete restoration of the exterior and interior of the house. The restoration included preservation of interior finishes and millwork and installation of new plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems. A great amount of concealed structural damages were found during the project such as failing masonry foundations and deteriorated timber framing which was rectified before continuing with installation of the new plumbing, mechanical and electrical infrastructure and cosmetic work. Exterior work included siding and trim repairs and replacement, as well as complete reconstruction and restoration of the ornate wrap-around porches. Foundations received waterproofing package and new drainage systems which were installed for storm water run-off. PCCI also provided the exterior upgrades and interior repairs/restoration and preservation of the following:

  • painting
  • site upgrading with features for handicap accessibility
  • paver parking areas
  • Sidewalks
  • landscaping
  • restoration of period fencing
  • heartpine flooring repairs and refinishing
  • plaster repairs
  • wallpaper and paint preservation
  • fixtures, fireplace surrounds, and millwork
  • windows, doors, and hardware
